PlugSnip is a toolkit of simple, lightweight and focused WordPress plugins designed to help you monetize your website without the bloat and complexity of traditional e-commerce solutions. Each “Snip” is built to do one job exceptionally well.
Are your plugins really free? What's the catch?
Yes! The core versions of our plugins available on WordPress.org are, and always will be free. They are fully functional but may have certain limitations (e.g., the number of products you can create). We make money by selling optional Pro versions that offer advanced features such as Stripe integration, unlimited usage and priority support for users who need more power.
Will PlugSnip plugins slow down my website?
Absolutely not. This is core to our philosophy. Our plugins are built with clean, efficient code and are “laser-focused,” meaning we don’t include any unnecessary features or scripts that would slow down your website.

What kind of files can I sell with Download Snip?
You can sell any file type that you can upload to your WordPress media library, including PDFs, ZIP files, images (JPG, PNG), audio files (MP3), video files (MP4), and more.
Is the download link secure?
Yes. After a successful purchase, the customer receives an email with a unique, secure link. This link is time-limited and designed for single use to prevent unauthorized sharing of your digital products.

How does the content unlocking work? Is it secure?
For the free version, Content Snip uses a secure browser cookie. When a user pays, a cookie that our plugin recognizes is set on their device, instantly revealing the content. What kind of content can I lock?
Anything you can put in the WordPress editor! This includes text, images, embedded videos (from YouTube/Vimeo), lists, and even links to downloadable files. If you can build it in the editor, you can sell access to it.
Will this affect my SEO? Can Google see my hidden content?
The content is present on the page but visually hidden by CSS. This means search engines such as Google can continue to crawl and index your premium content, helping your SEO. Your visitors, however, will only see the “Pay to Reveal” prompt until they purchase.
Event Snip Questions
What happens after someone pays for an event RSVP?
Following a successful payment, two actions occur instantly: 1) The plugin automatically increments your attendee count, helping you track capacity. 2) The attendee is sent a professional confirmation email containing all the event details (date, time, location/URL) that you entered.

Can I use your plugin on multiple websites?
The free versions of our plugins can be used on as many websites as you like. Our Pro licenses will be available with different plans to cover single-site, multi-site and agency use.
What is your refund policy?
We will offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund policy for all our Pro products. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Since our free versions are fully functional for testing, we encourage you to try them out before you buy.
